Superstar rapper Drake, who is never far from the headlines, has recently been embroiled in a legal battle over his beef with Kendrick Lamar. The 38-year-old still finds time to gamble, however, and he has shared a new video on Instagram promoting Stake.

The clip shows footage of him playing slots and roulette, winning more than $17.9m on one occasion. Drake’s voiceover is accompanied by motivational music as he talks about how he “never gave up” in his pursuit of finding the winning formula for success.

The comments section was generally positive, with people talking about the inspirational nature of the post. One individual said after watching the footage: “Aaaannnd I’m back gambling again .”

Drake’s role as a Stake ambassador generates plenty of interest, with the rapper regularly posting screenshots of sports bets to social media and streaming footage of himself playing casino games.

His poor betting record has led some people to claim he’s cursed. Drake recently said that he’s actually the “most daring sports bettor in history with the most losses.”
